Our data modeling team applies Knowledge Management (KM) principles (people, process, and technology) to improve the data modeling process and achieve success across the cybersecurity enterprise. ### ### Critical Technical Research and Analysis: Oakleaf Tech employees have conducted independent research in the use of Internet Protocols (IP) for selection and filtering and have gained substantial insights into the rapidly changing Domain Name Service (DNS) registration process, IP address look-up techniques, the role of delegated naming and numbering authorities, and related technologies. ### ### Fusion Support: Oakleaf Tech employees delivered an enterprise data integration/ analyst fusion workstation system in a heterogeneous environment based on client/ server and open systems architectures. ### ### Information Network Defense Support: Oakleaf Tech leads a team in the design and development of data modeling heuristics for audit log monitoring and analysis on network communications involving multiple operating systems. Provided the necessary domain knowledge with Linux/Unix/Windows audit logging to develop unified models across the different platforms. Provides common data modeling and data mapping to analyze data in PowerDesigner using UML and outputting XML and XSD common enterprise formats. Created UML class diagrams of IAVA XML Alert schemas. Produced several data mapping documents describing the data flow and relationships between data attributes as they flow through the system ingest, storage and retrieval systems. Develop UML models for data transport and interface designs for enterprise architecture using the Enterprise Logical Data Model (ELDM) using PowerDesigner. ### ### Media, Malware, and Analysis (MMA) Support: Oakleaf Tech employees have performed computer / network security and system vulnerability analysis; forensic and active analysis of computer attacks. This includes performing vulnerability analysis of commercial software and hardware, passive network monitoring and active network probing.
