Tasha Cornish

Driven by a passion for harnessing technology to advance community well-being, Tasha Cornish has devoted her career to building bridges between innovation and social impact. As the Executive Director of the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland (CAMI), Tasha leads initiatives to strengthen digital defenses, empowering individuals and businesses to thrive in a secure online world.


Notable achievements include securing a first-time grant for workforce development and influencing state-level cybersecurity legislation. Tasha is an enthusiastic advocate for collaboration, fostering partnerships across industries and government agencies. Highlights include organizing Cyber Day with the National Security Agency to inspire future cyber professionals and serving on a variety of industry boards, including the Maryland Cybersecurity Council, the IT Advisory Board for the Maryland Comptroller, and a governor-appointed employer representative for the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Council. Outside of work, Tasha serves on the Board of Directors of St. Mary's Outreach Center and LifeBridge Northwest Hospital. Tasha has a Master of Science in Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Cedar Crest College. She resides in Baltimore with her husband and dog.
